Strategic planning support to the NYC CCR&R Consortium

The New York City Child Care Resource & Referral Consortium is a partnership of five culturally diverse organizations that are committed to supporting and promoting high quality licensed center-based and home-based early care and education. The Consortium serves families and early childhood providers in the five boroughs by offering referrals and information to families seeking care and technical assistance and training to providers. While operating as an informal partnership for many years, in 2007 the member agencies entered into more formal contractual arrangements in responding to new requirements from the state funding agency. CAPD provided facilitation support during the development of these arrangements and continues to support the Consortium by facilitating meetings, providing periodic updates on service delivery milestones, and gathering information to inform self-reflection among the Consortium executive and program directors.
