An Evaluation Of A Comprehensive Whole-Family, Whole-Child Lang-Like Effort To Serve 1,000 Elementary School Children: Ready

CAPD evaluated the early program years of a comprehensive and sustained program aimed at improving the life chances of up to 1,000 children in Newark. READY is a tuition sponsorship program offering children a variety of activities, services to children and their families, and the promise of college tuition support for those meeting program requirements. The program continues to refine itself, based, in part, on insights from this formative evaluation.
