Projects Evaluation Of The Pat Home Visiting Program CAPD evaluated a home visiting program using the Parents As Teachers curriculum that was implemented in six of Maryland's family support centers. The focus of this evaluation was to identify issues related to incorporating a home visiting program for new parents within a broader family support center-based context. Issues examined were those related to training and supervision of home visiting staff, delivery of the curriculum, addressing other parent and family needs and concerns, links with other community resources and interaction with other center staff and programs. Data from staff interviews, computerized records and program forms, focus groups with participants, and home visits and other observations were used in the evaluation.
