The Children's Initiative: Making Systems Work, A Program Of The Pew Charitable Trusts

CAPD served as the intermediary to design and launch an effort to improve the social, education and health outcomes of young children by putting in place broad preventative services and by reconfiguring systems of services for children and families. The initiative called for the development of systems of inclusion for children, innovations at the front line of service delivery, and necessary policy, financing and governance strategies to support them. The initiative continues in a few states with local support.
