Enhancing Civic Engagement

Far too many children and families in America live in untenable circumstances. Reversing this will require both the active commitment of every citizen and organization having a stake in the future of this nation and significant public and private financial backing. For these reasons, CAPD's work increasingly includes attention to civic engagement and public will, including use of social marketing and communication strategies. We help communities and funders to incorporate these strategies as fundamental program components.

Further, CAPD has helped foundations assess current public will strategies and made recommendations about how to embed new thinking about public will throughout foundation grantmaking.
